In 1998, Annick and Gérard DION sold their business and moved to La Reunion island. Seventeen years have past and they succeeded their challenge that consisted in restoring the Castel’ image.
Annick and Gérard DION have now given away the management of their firm to an another younger manager, a sun lover person who likes the job, named Jérôme BRUDHON, in order to be able to enjoy everything the island handles them.
Jérôme BRUDHON is a young baker and pastrycook, native from Grenoble. He lived in La Reunion since March 2006. Because he loves his job, he has opened and managed 3 bakeries for 11 years now in metropolis and his business is doing well.

In Jérome’s family, the job of baker and pastrycook is a tradition since 1892, so we could say that he had this talent from his family. This must not be neglected.
In the beginning, Jérôme BRUDHON first applied his know-how for the clients of the well-known bakery located in the town center of Saint-Denis by buying the Castel.
Months later, in September 2006, he opened the CASTEL GLACIER in the Jean-Chatel street.
A design concept that offers a very cosy “saladerie” service on the floor.
